Madrid
offers probably the best culinary variety in Spain. Besides the rich Spanish
gastronomic culture (traditional cuisine of the community itself as well
as the rest of the country) the best variety of international cuisine
can be sampled in Madrid.
On each street,
on every corner, in each little alleyway, the traveler can discover one
of those charming restaurants, with no more than 10 tables, be it traditional
or new creations, where you can find a warm, friendly atmosphere to eat
some exquisite dishes.
The cuisine
of Madrid is not limited to cocido (stew), just like Valencia is not reduced
to paella. Many are the typical plates of each of the Autonomous communities,
and their rich gastronomy is, almost always, excellent. The menu (=la
